What We Believe | History | Location | Staff

We believe

  1. That the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the Divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.
  2. In one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  3. That Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man, having been conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Furthermore, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where He is at the right hand of Majesty on High. He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
  4. That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict mankind, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.
  5. That human beings were created in the image of God but fell into sin and are therefore lost and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
  6. That God, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, works in us and others by His Spirit. We are called to be the church; to celebrate God’s presence, to live with respect in Creation, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death and in life beyond death, God is with us.

Where we stand:

We declare our marriage definition as follows:

  1. We insist that the definition of marriage is a union between one man and one woman.
  2. We strongly believe that Biblical truth is an utmost standard for faith and life. Therefore, individuals participating in same gender relationships are not suitable to be practicing ministers or Christian models.
